Our first step in this process was to write the book, 'Silicon Valley Butterflies'. This book is about an Afghanistani girl who comes to Silicon Valley as a host student. There, she learns about several machines and how they work. This, sparks her passion and excitement to create something new. She also meets her friend Priya, who is what people call a "girly girl," who changes her ideas about technology. Together, they create a community of girls.
