On Christmas Eve, Santa heads out to deliver presents to all the good boys and girls. While delivering presents at Samantha and Ryan's house, a boy, Peter, steals Santa's sleigh. Now Santa is stranded at Samantha and Ryan's house until he can contact Mrs. Claus. Santa reports his sleigh stolen. but nobody believes him. Kids finally complain that they got coal in their presents, so the police have no choice but to investigate. The only two cops that respond to the call, set out and search for the sleigh. They find the sleigh, along with a piece of Peter's pajamas. Santa activates the honing beacon in the sleigh, and Mrs. Claus and the reindeer come and get him. They take Peter to the elf court at the North Pole, and the elves sentence him. The elves sentence ban him from Christmas for life. Peter is sorry for what he did, and tries to convince Santa to get the elves to lift the ban from him.
